FA Podcast?

February 4, 2008

I was thinking the other day that the FA movement, to my knowledge, doesn’t really have a podcast. And since Dan Savage has a podcast, we definitely should. I’m gonna have a go at making one. If anyone has any ideas for stuff they would love to have incorporated I am open. Right now I”m thinking interview format with various FA bloggers, covering issues of the week and talkinga bout how they got into FA, at least to start with.

(Also, if there already is one, please point me in that direction and ridicule me for my ignorance.)

UPDATE: So I was planning to start working on this last week, and my Landlord essentially gave me 7 weeks to move.  So, Yeah, I gotta move first.  But I’m so going to podcast once I get a new place.  (Seeking dog friendly house with yard for rent or to buy in chicagoland area.)

I like the interview format idea. Along with bloggers, you should feature FA people who don’t fit the bill of the stereotypical fatty, like fatgirlonabike.

  2. This is a great idea. I look forward to listening!

I think this is a fabulous idea. I would, in my deepest fantasy, also love to see a fatshionista video podcast hosted by Joy Nash.

  4. Omg, I love that too. I thought about a video podcast, but that would ruin my vague attempts to be anonymous.

I found a podcast. Podcast without measure

About the site: (copied from the site)
PODWOM is the abbreviation for Podcast Without Measure, the podcast edition of Without Measure (WOM), the official electronic magazine for the International Size Acceptance Association (ISAA). Each podcast will feature unique segments, commentary plus in-depth discussions and interviews conducted by the show’s host, ISAA Founder and Director, Allen Steadham.

Like WOM, each segment will reflect a different element of interest concerning size acceptance, Respect Fitness Health, science, fashion, current events and much more. PODWOM’s aim is to present each segment in an entertaining and informative way, made available in downloadable MP3 format.
