White Women

February 4, 2008

I’ve seen several posts about Bill Kristol’s commentary on Fox news over the weekend. (I can’t find them all now.)

I just spent a little quality time with the census figures from 2000, just to see, out of curiosity, how many people that might be. And it turns out that “White Women” in 2000 were 29.1% of the population of the US. (White men, 28.1%) This was, in 2000, over 82 million people, presuming that the proportions are the same in 2007 this would have been approximately 88 million people. That’s 88 million people that “are a problem.”

Charming.
